Red Hat: Big bucks, big Linux
In its 2013 second quarter, Red Hat saw total revenue for the quarter of $374 million. That was an increase of 16 percent in US dollars from 2012's second quarter. Subscription revenue for the quarter was $327 million, up 17 percent in U.S. dollars year-over-year.

Red Hat Inc, the world's largest commercial distributor of the Linux operating system, reported a slower growth in billings than analysts had expected.
Growth is growth! But because the growth wasn't as much as the anal-ysts expected, they consider it a loss. Really? This is another good example of how Logic is rapidly losing ground in our modern culture.
