Our next meeting date will be announced soon. We will again be meeting at the southwest branch of the Amarillo public library.

Topic:  tmux.
This is also a great opportunity to come meet everyone and see some live Linux action on lots of laptops/netbooks!
Just look for our sign.

The southwest branch of the library is at 6801 W 45th Avenue in Amarillo.

All of our meetings are free and open to the public.  Meeting schedules are subject to change.  Please check back often.

Hope to see you then!

About Us

We are simple folks in the Amarillo, Texas area who enjoy Linux and FOSS in general. We exist to further the expansion, use of and appreciation of Linux in our communities. We host technical presentations and educational meetings that are free and open to the public. There is typically one meeting per month. No knowledge of Linux is presumed or required.

There is no membership cost and all are welcome. We are glad to have users and fans of all Free Software and Open Source Software such as GNU and BSD as well. To join, simply sign up on our forums, join our IRC channel, and/or drop by a meeting when you can. We'd love for you to do all three!

We survive on donations and volunteers. We are not an incorporated organization and do not take dues. Members are encouraged to donate a couple of dollars when possible to help with web hosting costs. Honestly, though, volunteers are really a more valuable asset as all of our technical presentations are presented by a group member. If you have something you'd like to present, let the group know about it. We'd greatly appreciate the help. If you have something you'd like to see presented, please post up a topic on our forums!

If you have any other questions or comments, please don't hesitate to ask an administrator:
